Ok, so the ultimate setup for maximum points (assuming you are riot shield boosting on search and destroy) is as follows:

Class 1: Riot Shield
Perk 1: One Man Army

Class 2: LMG or Akimbo p90’s
Perk 1: One Man Army

Using this setup, you can generate over 100,000 points per match while boosting. You can Prestige multiple times in a day with boosting. These are the best modern warfare 2 boosting setups.

I’ve been getting this question alot. The maximum number of points of I’ve gotten from boosting in modern warfare 2 with the riot shield boosting method is 115,000. The riot shield boosting method on search and destroy is probably the best way to get points on modern warfare 2.

How to boost in Modern Warfare 2

There are plenty of methods to boost, but the best by far is the riot shield and one man army method. If you’re looking to boost quickly, you can just do a 3rd person cage match. Its 1v1 and most people doing it are only there to boost. Its not quite as good as the normal methods via domination but its better than nothing. Just pop into the match and ask if the person wants to boost. Its pretty simple.

Once you’re in, you should both have classes set up for riot shield boosting. The best setup I’ve seen is Riot Shield w/ One man army for both boosters. All you have to do is meet in the middle of the map, Booster A blocks with riot shield while Booster B unloads a full LMG clip into the shield. Then Booster B switches to riot shield, and Booster A switches to LMG via 1 man army. Rinse and repeat for the entire match, and it can be worth your while. Tactical insertion can aid you in respawning close to your partner, but is not necessary because it only shaves off a few seconds at best.
